I few days ago I asked if any syncro owner could check the foremost front diff. mount and see if there was a plastic spacer installed. I got a few responses, only one (besides myself) noted NO spacers installed. Coincidentally, this was on an '86 van, same year as mine.

I've written it down on my blog, and included diagrams :)
