To be fair regarding the zetec.... Idaho in my case was substituted with Iowa. In the middle of Iowa I killed a serpentine belt (I knew it was coming as i had rusty pulleys on a junkyard engine). Luckily I carried a spare and was easily able to fix it along the roadside. Well anyway, Never wanting to travel without a spare, I imediately found the small mom and pop auto parts store which sold farm equipment as well (Ever hear of Anita Iowa? Wasn't even on my map!)..... and surprise surprise..... they had the part in hand!

The zetec engine is wonderfully roadside friendly. Parts are wildly cheap and available everywhere (as well as in junkyards). I know some of the Audi engines this would not at all be the case......

-Craig '85GL turned WESTY BOSTIG in the back shopping for a syncro to do it all again!
