Well, I have a mix of Shock Proof and MT-90 - - somehow, reading the Bentley I had the idea that I only needed 3 qts, so picked up 3 qts of Shock Proof and 3 of MT-90. Took all three Shock Proof and had to use the MT-90 to finish filling. :(

The guy I spoke with at Red Line a couple of years ago recommended Shock Proof for the Diesel Vanagon transaxle.

The vehicle I put it in is an '85 waterboxer, was getting problematic shifting from 1 to 2 especially when cold. Been in for a little over one year.

Shifts pretty good now, though! :)
