38 mm long would be 1 and .992125984/2 inches long.

Type B has a 60ddeg flank angle thread and can form a thread in soft materials. The end of the screw is blunt, offering more thread engagement in short length applications.

Type AB is likewise but has a sharp point.

Type 25 has a blunt point with a thread-tapping slot cut in the end.

Type TEK2 adds a drill point so it can drill its own holes.
