First, I try to avoid freeways when possible. I route myself around (some distance when possible) big cities, and travel interstate highways only when there is no reasonable alternative.

On the open highway, I tend to drive around 60 mph, a little faster when traffic forces. Mine is a 2.1 waterboxer.
