Are you sure you have 235/75-15's under there? That is a big tire. A risk of oversized tires with the automatic is the torque converter can be put into a situation where it continuously slips. This creates a lot of heat for the cooling system and transmission to handle. You should get some temp monitoring on the tranny fluid. Did you do something to upgrade the brakes? Also consider the effect of a tire having a flat or blowout and the suspensions ability to handle that much droop when a tire goes down.

I run a 1.9 and an auto trans, with 235/75 R15 tires, and usually cruise at 3600-3800 RPM, which places me just under 70mph. I am usually empty, or only lightly loaded. Camping loading cuts into the milage, but not the engine "happy" zone...

I'm just curious.  At what speed do most of you drive on the freeway? On flat road, that is...I'm in a 1.9 and  usually keep it around 60mph.
