I did compare the hose length of the one I received from the bus depot to the picture on Go Westy site, and yes, it is clear that the hose is too short. This is the feedback I got from Fred at the Bus Depot: Troy,

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the delay - I wanted to not only check the rest of our stock but also with the manager to confirm. All the hoses that we have here are 24 " and always have been. We've sold hundreds of these and haven't had a complaint. If you like I can set up a return for you. I will waive the restock fee for you. Please let me know how to proceed.

Troy, If your talking about the green and white aftermarket trap mine was too long. You need to send yours back and get another. I think go westy has a picture of the same trap you can compare your too.Count the sections, maybe someone cut and returned yours.

Hi folks:

I ordered a new P-trap and hose from bus depot. My original hose length was somewhere around 32 inches, but the hose that bus depot sold me is 24 inches. The hose when fully stretched, barely, and I mean barely goes straight down to the exit port. The center shelf in the sink cabinet is notched in the rear to allow the hose to go behind the shelf, so there is simply no way this hose is long enough to stretch. BD says they have sold hundreds with no complaints! Wow, I guess I'm confused!! Makes me wonder if I'm somehow missing a part? Anyone else have problems with one of these P-traps kits?
