an 84 Angoon I'm working on .. had drip of green coolant coming off oil filter. Removing oil filter revealed that coolant is coming out of the weep hole on the bottom of the not-too-old water pump.

oil coolers have always behaved themselves for me so far. fwiw. Scott

Hello Listless,

I have a leak that drips off the bottom of the oil cooler (where the oil filter is) I have tightened all the hoses I can find and have not been able to stop it. It is not a big leak but, I do want to get it stopped. any I am beginning to wonder if maybe some how the oil cooler is leaking where the two halves are seamed together but that doesn't seem likely.

the water pump shows no signs of leaking. I have seen the big nipple on the coolant tank was wet so I tightened the hose but that did not fix the problem.

any help or ideas are appreciated.

Chris S.
