Subject:      Fuel Pump Test Clarifiction

Got no fuel to the engine. Can't hear pump running. Looking at  Bentley
20.29. Instructions say connect leads 30 and 87 to a tester. I'm not
concerned with flow rates. I only want to know 1) if the relay is bad
and 2)  if the pump is still operational - so can I just jumper the two
leads together and dispense with whatever tester that is named??
