Don't assume it's the starter. It may be "hot start syndrome," which is pretty common.

If it starts fine after it's cooled off (usually 15-20 minutes), you probably don't need a starter. Should it happen again, try giving the starter a good whack with something (it's up underneath on the passenger side, just a little bit back from the axle)...and don't shut down the engine unless you absolutely have to.

The problem is caused by insufficient current from the battery, through the key switch, back to the starter (it's a long way to go). The solution is to wire a relay near the starter to provide more current to the Bendix (aka "solenoid").
