I am having my 89 Vanagon camper GL repainted. The bottom is a burgandy color (sort of). Unfortunately, I previously had the rose-colored top repainted an off-white, which I regret.

I want to repaint the top to its original color but can't locate a paint code on the vehicle and my local VW dealership tried but failed to find a paint code. I also checked under the front seat, the door panel and the original vehicle booklet. No luck. Yet.

Does anyone have a suggestion of how or where I could find a paint code for the top of this Vanagon?
