I had a Carefree Sidewinder II awning for 15 years. It was very good, but was totally manual. I got a crankout model from them. It is OK. The design is from some one in Europe--same company that Fiamma uses; I think their patents control crankouts. Anyway, my Carefree seems like Version A compared to a Fiamma which seems like Version B. Plus, Fiamma is cheaper. I advise lookie loos to buy Fiamma over Carefree. Plus, Steve is a great guy to deal with. Richard (in Boulder, next door to Carefree who won't deal with me, only a dealer....) |
