Craig,
First, you need a sales contract, with a very thorough description of
said property telling who is going to do what with which and to whom,
sales price, any other charges, pictures, sellers signature on the
contract - Notarized - before you send any money. Then pay with a
certified check from a bank. But whatever you do, it would be far better
to be there in person or hire an agent to handle it for you- a Vanagon
list person, or a professional for hire.
