dear pricey
a little on the high side ?? as if that were some sort of hidden discrepancy
....
so lets look at the simple facts in front of us and this mystery will be
come clearer
reference http://www.gladwell.com/2007/2007_01_08_a_secrets.html for why i
call this a mystery ...
first item ... price policy
http://www.gowesty.com/pricing_policy.php
item 2 ...the insane fine tooth comb used by gowesty experts as they make a
"new" van for sale
http://www.gowesty.com/vehicle_details.php?id=1330
item three ... attitude
click on the pictures of the van for sale at gowesty ..if it has gowesty
wheel package you will see the gowesty wheel centre and the cool GW shape
...
reminds me of the apple sosumi sound ... he he he ...
my wife and i like gowesty people and what they appear to stand for ...a
good business model.... well run... and profitable ...
they seem to run with a sense of responsibility toward the families they
feed with their well ordered efforts
...they seem to have created a place that encourages customers to willingly
pull out that other c note and hand it over with gratitude ...
like a well run *Chandlery *
if one set out to plan a business like gowesty it would be hard to follow
through ...
but i imagine it would be possible
find your self a vehicle that is well wanted and has a reasonable
possibility of succeeding from generation to generation ...
it could be a ford but not an edsel per se .. maybe the F150
http://f100central.com/catalog/48-49-50-51-52-f1-parts-178/48-52-body-parts-237/48-52-bed-parts-180/48-early-50-f1-stock-bed-kit-complete-1340.html
and become excellent at servicing those who drive the vehicles and love
them ...
restore a few and offer them for sale
whats that ...have to amortize a full set of snap on and hoist plus shop
space and storage of wrecks for parts and knowledgeable workers to r&r every
single part
starting to sound like a hand built vehicle isnt it ...
bentley
rolls royce
and etc starting to come to mind
60k for a practically new westy ... deal at twice the price
sign me ... an unapologetic apologist for gowesty
yours
