Well, I did notice that reliance, the company that makes the > water jugs, has come out with a porta potti. I checked out this unit at my local WalMart. The same unit is sold, with minor tooling differences, under the Ozark Trails brand (they were side-by-side), same price. They are short, only 13'' while our household commodes are 15'' high at the seat. For a fellow who has a metal knee and a non-articulated ankle, getting up from one of these short commodes is a challenge. I needed to grab ahold of something in front of me to hoist myself upright. YMMV. Otherwise, it seems to be a sturdy unit and, as Troy says, it doesn't take up a lot of space when stowed. -- Rocky J Squirrel |
