Mine drips a bit. I come from desert camping background and water leaks are just not okay with me. The cap is a three-part construction: two plastic cap parts, and an elastomer ring captured between the two pieces. This latter provides a seat for the lip of the tank drain outlet. The ring seems a bit mooshed. I was thinking of replacing the seal with an o-ring, but it doesn't seem doable w/o disassembling the cap, and the two plastic parts are not looking like they would get with the program without breaking. Anyone dealt with this already? -- Rocky J Squirrel 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Westrailia: (Ladybug Trailer company, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) Bend, OR KG6RCR |
