Ferdinand Porsche is the founding father of the VW and Porsche faiths and there is plenty of influence from Citroen on our Vanagons too . I'd like to see Andre Citroen added to The List. He invented the double helical gear (hence the double chevron logo) and pioneered front wheel drive, radial tires and halogen headlights too. In 1946 your Citroen 11L came with front wheel drive, radial tires, halogen lights and a monocoque body, way ahead of everybody else. Seeya, Jake
