Sadly I believe you had made your decision before asking the list for their opinion. Everyone I saw, and myself privately, suggested this was not the way to transact business. The seller created a " sense of urgency". The seller does not have a good reputation. The seller wants you to take all the risks. The seller now has your money and you have no signature, no bill of sale and no vehicle, nor have you laid eyes on the vehicle. Lastly am I correct in assuming you believe that the seller took 1/3 of the price he could get for it because he was trying to help you! Please let us know how things turn out.
