Temp sensor? And not to be misleading but.... I have a consistent engine warm no start issue. Drive down the hill (2 KM's at most). Engine temp needle registers 1/4 at most. Shut off engine. Come back anywhere from 2-30 minutes later. It takes at least 5 sessions of cranking for it to start. Feels like it's flooded. (Jetta engine conversion) I suspect the purge valve is staying open and letting gas fumes to gather at intake, which causes a rich mix which needs to be burned up with these cranking sessions before engine starts. This happened three times now and even though I have a Digitool for it, which tells me that every item is working well, I am still baffled about what maybe giving trouble. I have unplugged the O2 sensor also. > The thing is, that it starts eventually and then it works fine until it won't start again. Unpredictable.
