Hi Mark,

The 2.1 crank has a longer stroke, but it will fit in a 1.9 case with some minor clearancing.

Here's a way to tell them apart: If you put a 2.1 crank in an unmodified 1.9 case it will make contact...

It's not clear which crank are you asking about the value of? 1.9 or 2.1?

If someone with a 1982 diesel needs a rad it'd probably be worth the trouble to convert them to the later rad... As the early rads are very rare these days. But heck... you're in NASCAR-land... I bet there's a custom rad shop in your neck of the woods that can rebuild that diesel rad better than new if your customer has their heart set on leaving it "stock".
