Subject: power steering rack: core value
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

My new power steering rack required no core return, so I am left wondering what to do with the old one. I don't really have the space to store it. Its yours for FREE if you want it. I will be at bon echo, shelter valley and watkins events this summer and can bring it there if you don't live near Ottawa.

The rack replacement job was not as fun as the new gas tank install or replacing fuel lines - and I had grown quite fond of manual steering. And getting the washer fluid output line back on its nipple was really hard. And how the heck do you remove/replace the old power steering rack bushings without a press? I just left the old ones in that came with my rebuilt rack but I would ideally like to have new ones in there.

Happy vanny summer everyone, Greg S. 87' Wolfsburg Ottawa ON
