Subject: two '86 vanagon GL's...$800 for the pair CHEAP VANS!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

two '86 vanagon GL's. 7 passengers.. one blue metallic, one bronze. both manual trans w/ 2.1L and a/c. bodies straight, solid. paint nice. both run but have issues.

blue one has 3/4 slider problem w/ trans tho it can still be driven as log as u dont stop in 3rd. motor is good but need a pushrod tube seal (leaks some oil). heads are good. needs starter, i was just pop starting it since the trans had issues anyway.

bronze one has good manual trans but engine overheats and pukes coolant after a few mins.. maybe heads need retorquing? dunno..

buy them both and make one out of the pair.. both have good titles.

both need to be towed from Allentown, PA. you cannot drive them home as-is.

if nobody buys these whole they will be parted out in 2 weeks as i am losing my storage and they have to go.

PS, keep in mind scrap metal has come up again so i have that alternative too... just hoped they could be saved, but its crunch time for me....

pmail me off list if interested..
