you guys... you have to start with the first internal combustion engined actual car ... Karl Benz, right ? Prior to 1900 even.

for iconic milestones it's very flattering to have 'vanagon' .. though I would have to say 'VW Bus' in that list.

and Ferrari ...Ferrari doesn't count ?

and what car was voted the Car of the Century in 2000 ? a car that is well known, not ugly, long time production, 35 years now or ..no 45 years now ...one series of car, high performance, many of them made, racing history .. what car is that ?

also ..something that fasicnate me .. Iconic Automotive Empire builders : my list is .. Etore Buggati, Enzo Ferrari, Henry Ford, Carol Shelby, Colin Chapman Fernand Porsche

there are others, but I think those are at the top of the list. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Beierl" <dbeierl@ATTGLOBAL.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Sunday, July 04, 2010 8:16 PM Subject: Re: Parking brake pressure (was I've had it)
