I don't actually recall, but, for example, looking at the Digijet setup in Bentley, (hint hint ;), if one replaced the original steel pipes/nylon stuff with fuel hose, I see 8 clamps needed for hoses to/from the expansion tanks, crossover pipe and pipes on top of tank. On mine ('81), there is a rubber hose that interfaces between the steel small pipe at filler pipe. 2 more clamps.

Or, check out the GW kit. It shows 16 clamps that I can see.

Be careful not to break the nipple off the expansion tank valve bit. Can only be found used AFAIK. The gasket at each expansion tank may be getting old. I don't recall which product I used, but used this type of sealant to beef up gasket and help it adhere: http://tinyurl.com/2b28rbv I don't know if that gasket is available new. Before pulling things apart, make sure you have the correct sized big O ring for filler neck.

There should be tons of info in the archives on tank resealing. Here's a nice write up. He shows straps used. No knock to the author, but, well, if it were me..... ;)
