"...a week or so while..."

---- Probably longer. As Scott said, the shippers are brokers and they'll just wait until they find a driver operating independently who is willing to accept their offer to add your vehicle to the couple others on their flatbed headed your direction. If it takes several weeks or more to find the driver on the route with the space willing to work for the fee offered, that's just the breaks. You may find a shipper who guarantees timely delivery but it's likely to cost you a lot more than the average shipper/broker.

I sold a van last April that finally was picked up at my house five weeks later. I'll grant you this, though: I'm several hours away from the major westbound interstate that would have connected me with my buyer, so that could be a factor; not too many auto shippers were passing through my area on their way to Colorado.

In any event, get it to safe hands fast, and expect it may be a while before you see it. Or go get it! I've never seen a sunroof syncro, sounds cool. Is the sunroof tinted? -Peter
