Subject:      LED brake lights may mess up your VW cruise control

I was talking to Marco today from http://www.theBuslab.com in Berkeley.


Says he spent "way too much time" troubleshooting a customers cruise control today that had stopped working.


Turns out the cause was cheapo LED brake lights that didn't have enough resistance for the cruise control to function properly.


After Marco replaced the LED bulbs with regular bulbs, cruise then worked properly.   (Customer forget to mention he installed LED bulbs around the time cruise stopped working)


Moral of the story; make sure you test your cruise if you install LED brake light bulbs...not all LED bulbs will be compatible....
