Dear Codger, yes..is the short answer. lock tite away, just so things still pivot. but you have low quality glasses over the in Bend, or what ? . I get mine at the Dollar Store .. every last thing in the store is one dollar, and no sales tax. makes for pretty easy checking out. but I've been there done that with the glass screws.. but doesn't seem to be a problem anymore these days. just get good dollar glasses.
