hi ,
I was gonna pull a screw out of a vanagon ..
and of 14 or so vanagons that are here.
they are all hinged battery covers, or are missing their screwed-down
battery covers.
( that oughta tell ya something..they're a pain ! )
18mm long sounds right since 25mm is an inch roughly.
and 4mm must be what it is.....if yours seem stock and fit well.
threaded inserts is stock,
nothing sheet metal related.
