pe·dan·tic
-adjective
1.
ostentatious in one's learning.
2.
overly concerned with minute details or formalisms, esp. in teaching.
-Synonyms
2. didactic, doctrinaire.
I like that ...
"overly concerned with minute details."
kinda has a conotation of being bothersome or dragging down of energy .
hey, I suffer from that all the time ! but ...
why pick over all the silly details ..
the guy needs a working speedo with odometer for his van's inspection..
nothin' complex about that.
now if someone would just come up with one ...
somewhere in there I saw 'in miles or kilometers' ..so sounds like if a
miles version can't be found ..
a kilometer version might legally suffice.
pedantically yours,
S.
