Hi all. Not long after resealing my new gas tank, I noticed a little fuel seepage at 2 hose connections if tank over filled. 1 being at the driver side end of crossover tube to exp. tank. The goal is to replace the stupid cable straps with clamps. Had read that it's possible to do some work on gas tank while it's still mounted in place. Would these long nose pliers be of use for a job like this? pic of tool types: http://cdn.overstock.com/images/products/P949265a.jpg And useful for other Vanagon wrenching stuff too? Thanks, Neil. -- Neil Nicholson '81 VanaJetta 2.0 "Jaco" http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/ http://groups.google.com/group/vanagons-with-vw-inline-4-cylinder-gas-engines |
