if a correct 82 DV coolant bottle can't be found,
I would convert to the very common, if wanting to stay all VW, ....86 to 91
coolant pressure bottle for gasoline 2.1 wbxr engines.
and adapt hose sizes to work.
you find hose size adapters are FLAPS stores, at hardware stores, or you
make them from welded tubing pieces. or whatever.
just plumb it identically, and things will be fine.
