Dear Scott,
I do have cheap reading glasses, and plenty of them. I do not mind
sacrificing them to a study of whether Loctite will bother them (though
I have learned that if the Loctite gets onto the plastic lenses, say
where the nose bumper things go through them, the lenses will craze).
It's my really nice pair of Ronsir "High School Math Teacher" Browline
glasses I don't want to mess up.
Photo of me wearing those things a couple of inches down on the right
hand side here: http://socal2bend.blogspot.com/
The glasses have progressive lenses, so I can now see the road ahead of
me clearly /and/ bring the dash into clear focus. I just got the fitted
polarized clip-on sunglasses for them. Excellent for driving, and looks
totally forbidding and old-codgerish.
