Subject: Corsica in 3rd Gear

Corsica is MOUNTIANOUS!  In the 11 days that we have been here, I have used 4th gear 4 times for 4 minutes.  So far the trip has been drives along the shoreline and drives inland into the mountains on winding & twisting roads about 1 and a half car widths wide.  We stop for 1) Beautiful beaches with turquoise water. 2) Hikes along the shoreline, 3) Hikes in the mountains.  Some GREAT mountain B&Bs, and some Campsites at the end of 4WD roads to the beach. Van is working fine, we are having a wonderful holiday.  This morning we swam in a WARM mountain river, a first for  Jamila.  I do believe that I ended the life of my camera, as I slipped on the boulders in the river and the camera got a 3 second bath.  Oh well I wanted a new camera anyway. We say HI to each of you, please share the news.  Jamila & Malcolm
