I have a rather pristine US model 1982 Sunroof Diesel Vanagon . ( FS btw )

in the engine compartment, left side, on yellow sticker, it says :

"CONFORMS TO US EPA APPLICABLE REGULATIONS FOR 1982 YEAR MODEL NEW MOTOR VEHICLES"

it was sold in Portland OR , and there's no mention of if it's Federal or Calif. regs...just the exact wording above.
