hey guys... so i was posting on behalf of a nice guy who I had done some work on his van.... i went to see it this morning and I fixed it..

turns out that he had the rear wheel bearings done after i worked on it ( they must not have tightend the shaft enough ) ... the cv shaft came off on the wheel side. he had assumed it was a clutch / tranny issue and somehow didn't notice it was off the wheel side when he checked... also he thought when his dash light was off it was in 4x4... when in fact it's the other way around ;)
