Dear Mark,

Beg to disagree about the fan. On both my '84 and '85 the fan drove the dash vents very well, just no temperature control. I liked it that way.

Now on my '89 the vents are temp-controlled which I don't wish, and have less output as well, presumably from having taken a trip through the heater core (which may be plugged up, have to look). If there is a way for me to change my present system back to the old one, I will take it.
