Hard to understand what you mean Scott...

are you saying that an oxs sensor light is not US federally mandated and that's why a Canadian market vanagon does not have it?

No DRL on the '86. was later.

perhaps because they are not US federally required things .. like key-in-ignition warning buzzer ... I always remove those anyway ..

does your canadian model have Daytime Running Lights ? I believe some do. ( though I suspect the later models only, like 90/91 )
