oh Squirrel ! you're supposed to check the battery more often than that !

the battery is a 'service item' after all. Like takes some checking every once in a while.

( I bought an 85 Wolfsburg weekender ..had an original Audi/vw white case battery under the driver's seat .. there shoulda been a prize hidden there. Quite sure I was the first person to see that battery in well over 20 years. )
