I have an '89 automatic, and I can tell you that the van ran the same after I unplugged that wire. But I don't know where it goes. I bet Mark Drillock does. So -- no, that's not your no-start problem. Hall-effect generator, connector at the distributor, ECU, coil or wiring amongst them. The "one weak spark" is additional evidence and to me suggests ECU or coil, likely ECU. But if you go through the Bentley tests you should know. Yours, David |
