You really need to check the alternator output voltage at the alternator.
Depending on battery and wiring condition and other loads the reading at the
battery can be much lower. Also, check the voltage between the alternator
output and the alternator case, and then to the chassis. This will show poor
ground connections. The path from the alternator to the battery and worse
the front fuse box does tend to lose some voltage. 13 volts is on the weak
side. You should be able to get 13.8 without a lot of accessories or lights
on and a charged battery.

Hi all,
I put a voltmeter across the battery and revved the engine at 2000RPM+ and
get a reading of only 13.0 Volts.
Should I be worried or will the alternator last a bit longer?
