I have done it, but not in the last 10 years- the cost will depend on how far you are going & if it is 1 way or bringing the truck back to the same place.

I towed my doka over 500 miles on 1 of these dollies behind an empty 26' U-Haul truck! Not my ideal situation, but the doka did travel at over 70 mph most of the way! I know, I know, not smart to do, but we needed to get home quickly after 2 engine fire delays. In any event, it cost me about $500, IIRC, for the 1 way truck/dolly rental. Local RT I assume, would be much less, & hopefully you can get a truck smaller than a 26 footer, which was the only 1 available in LaGrande, Oregon on a Labor Day.
