Thanks to all for the great suggestions.
Snagged a friend with a big truck, found a flat bed to rent (for an
amazing deal of $50 for the day),  and 7.5 hours later Octavius, Gus
for short, as he is now known is safe in the garage ready for me to
start troubleshooting.
