Gas in the ear? See a doctor, you've likely got a chemical burn in the ear canal, it can get infected and may need antibiotics . I once 'cleaned' my ear with an alcohol-dipped q-tip and then had to go to the doctor due to the pain that wouldn't quit. I won't do that ever again! Watch for ear infection or pain that won't go away.
