It's a historical document of record. No reason why it's age matters. They get your application, collect the appropriate fee for the corrected title, then issue a new title in your name only (unless you'd like to add another co-owner who may need to be present to sign) with the 'lienholders' block then showing 'none'.

These small but important matters can help some day.
