We've been back for nearly a week and I finally got this together.  Interesting trip to a very scenic place, and the van worked wonderfully every mile.  The re-rebuilt odometer never missed a lick (finally) and the cheapo R134A conversion worked well enough to keep us comfy in the Triple 95 (95F/95% humidity on I-95) driving we did.  We knew going in that it would be a rush trip with little time off, but it was pleasurable despite that.
