Sure, if you go fast enough and turn sharply enough. It's just like the Wall of Death at the carnival. As to whether the car in the ad was fulfilling the necessary conditions -- you could work the calculations if you had some measurements, but my feeling is that it was not, ergo it didn't really happen.

I don't think the Vanagon would be a good candidate, except that it wouldn't have so far to fall if it came unstuck. <g>
