I do believe that all three are officially designated as tie-down fittings for securing the vehicle for sea passages. Note the angle on the after two...they'd be much better towing fittings if they stuck straight aft instead of down. The front one is much better constructed for the purpose; and what I've used on the rear for towing is the hitch ball (my hitch assembly is one of the SA ones Ron was importing for a while; a stout tube that installs in the same place as the regular bumper mounts, but is much longer and has a third bolt at the forward end).
