Hello All,

My apologies to those of you who belong on multiple Lists/Forums because this posting is cc'd to several. I have a severely rusted 1985 Syncro Doka with a 2.1 WBX engine conversion. Originally a 1.9 carbureted truck. it's got rust in both rockers, rear roof (inner also), big gaping holes where the antenna should be, more rot under windshield. Gates are toast too but I have replacement gates in good shape. One cargo door look salvageable. The other is rotted. Seam rust everywhere.

The good news is it is a runner and the undercarriage is not rusted. It's appears only on the upper body. It's been in California about 10 years. Papers look like there was some hankypanky but I can't be sure. Might have registration sorted out within a week or two. Vehicle verify saw all the diesel stickers and did not look under the engine lid.

I'm on the fence to restore and sell; sell as-is; or part her out. I was thinking a Doka trailer would be cool. Haven't seen one in the US. Selling her as-is is looking more and more attractive. I figured $4800 is what I need to get.

Please pmail me if this might be of interest. Preference given to someone who wants to resurrect the beast and also someone who does not require shipping. Remember 1985 is the FIRST year of Syncros in Europe. Escorial Green. No pics at this time. Get me before I change my mind. Giving myself until Friday to figure out what to do.

BenT
