Subject: Got some GoWesty 2wd springs!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I couldn't help myself - I ordered some 2wd lift springs from GoWesty today. I've been thinking of this for a while, and this photo pushed me over the edge:

I have the same tires on similar wheels arriving this week from Tirerack ($78 each right now!), and think the van really deserves new springs to go with the tires/wheels/Bilstein HDs...

So far, I'm very impressed with Tirerack - they include bolts/nuts with their wheels, and offered to give me the correct front bolts/rear nuts for the Vanagon at no extra cost, and still shipped them out same day. I may regret the 28" tires, but I can probably sell them for more than I paid, as they sell here for $150+ each.

Can't wait to get them next week - they're being shipped to Blaine, Wa.

I might find time to install the springs during our trip, but assume I'll need a wheel alignment afterward, right?
