Very clean and purdy. I repainted my steel engine parts in a very similar fashion and the POR has held up very well. Tell us more about the paint scheme of the van that it went into? That green sure isn't a stock Vanagon color... One or the other might be OK but the two colors together must be quite "stunning";-) Andrew -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Frank Condelli Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2010 4:23 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Rebuilt engine project Just wanted to show you all the beautiful 1.9 engine project I just finished for a customer. Engine fully rebuilt, all rustable metal parts on the engine were POR-15ed and a 2.1 stainless steel exhaust system was fitted. Modifications of the muffler heat shield and thermostat housing heat shield were necessary to fit the 2.1 system.
